Noctune is a sleep and focus soundscape app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data Noctune collects and how it is used.
Noctune collects no personal data. We do not require an account, email address, or any personally identifiable information to use the app.
Your preferences — sound mixes, favorites, and settings — are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device.
If you grant permission, Noctune reads sleep data from Apple HealthKit to show sleep insights. This data is read-only, processed on your device, and is never transmitted to any server.
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Noctune does not receive or store your payment information. Purchase receipts are validated by RevenueCat, our entitlement management provider, using an anonymous app user ID. No personal information is shared with RevenueCat.
Noctune does not include behavioral analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or advertising services. We do not track your usage patterns, behavior, or location. RevenueCat collects anonymous, aggregated purchase analytics (revenue, subscription status) to help us understand product performance. No personal data is involved.
Noctune uses one third-party service:
The app functions entirely offline after download, except for purchase validation.
Because Noctune does not collect personal data, there is no user account or server-side profile to delete. Here is exactly how each category of data is retained and how you can remove it:
You can email privacy@noctune.org at any time to request deletion of any data associated with your use of Noctune. We will respond within 30 days.
Noctune does not knowingly collect data from children. Since we collect no personal data from any user, no special provisions are needed.
If we update this policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
